The British filmmaker caught the eye of Tinseltown producers with his low-budget debut, Monsters, and was stunned when he was asked to helm the blockbuster remake. The offer was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream for Edwards, but the severe pressure of walking onto the set to work with stars such as Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Juliette Binoche sparked anxiety attacks.
